What is this?

A circuit board to balance a half loadcell bridge and magnify the output from the board. The output is analog 0v to 5v.

Load cell - half bridge

Most loadcells are full bridge, but the loadcells that we were using were half bridge load cells. So this circuit is designed to work with this type of loadcells.

Achieving better balancing of the bridge

To balance the bridge all we want is one trim pot. But them if we use one trim pot the sensitivity of the pot will be less. In order to achieve better balancing, we use a 10 ohm trim pot and 2 1000ohms resistor on each leg of the bridge. Now the trim pot will offer fine tune balancing of the bridge
